KOREFIB^® FiberMesh

Lightweight composite reinforcement mesh supplied in rolls as a modern alternative to welded steel reinforcement mesh. It does not corrode, is significantly lighter and is easy to handle and install on site.

Suitable for concrete and industrial floors, screeds, foundation slabs and precast concrete. Manufactured in the Czech Republic, with selected variants carrying CE marking and ETA documentation.

Lightweight, corrosion-resistant reinforcement for concrete

KOREFIB^® FiberMesh is a composite reinforcement mesh made from glass fibres and a polymer matrix. It is used where reinforcement is required to control cracking, distribute tensile stresses across the surface and eliminate the problem of corrosion.

Typical applications include cement and anhydrite screeds, concrete floors, ground-supported slabs, rehabilitation works, precast concrete and wet or chemically aggressive environments.

Where FiberMesh makes sense

FiberMesh is a technical reinforcement solution designed for applications where tensile behaviour needs to be improved, cracking controlled and installation on site simplified.

Steel mesh is heavy. In many applications, it creates unnecessary handling.

For screeds, floors and area reinforcement, reinforcement capacity is not the only consideration. Handling, transport, storage and long-term durability also play an important role.

KOREFIB^® FiberMesh composite reinforcement mesh is significantly lighter than steel, does not corrode and can be easily transported, unrolled and installed without heavy lifting equipment.

It is not a universal replacement for steel reinforcement in every structure. Its use must correspond to the function of the reinforcement, the type of structure and the project requirements.

We supply three standard KOREFIB^® FiberMesh variants for common applications in screeds, floors and concrete layers.

KOREFIB^® FiberMesh 2 mm: mesh size 50 × 50 mm

CE marking and European Technical Assessment (ETA)

Selected KOREFIB^® FiberMesh variants are supplied with CE marking based on European Technical Assessment ETA-25/0367, issued by the Technical and Test Institute for Construction Prague.

The ETA covers the certified KOREFIB^® FiberMesh 2×50×50, 3×100×100 and 4×100×100 variants as inorganic fibre grids for reinforcement of cementitious, anhydrite or resin-based screeds.

Comparison with welded steel reinforcement mesh

KOREFIB^® FiberMesh composite reinforcement mesh is significantly lighter than welded steel reinforcement mesh at comparable tensile strength, does not corrode and is electrically non-conductive. For crack-control applications, tensile strength, weight and suitability for the specific construction build-up are key considerations.
