KOREFIB® FiberMesh 4 mm Composite reinforcing mesh for concrete 4×100×100
Composite reinforcing mesh roll 4×100×100
A composite reinforcing mesh roll for fast placement in concrete floors, screeds and non-load-bearing construction layers. Suitable as a lightweight replacement for welded steel mesh where easy handling, corrosion resistance and long service life are decisive.
Enter the welded steel mesh from your design or the layer thickness - the tool will recommend a matching KOREFIB® FiberMesh.

Indicative aid - does not replace design documentation. The tensile strength is the average of the longitudinal and transverse directions (FiberMesh per ETA 25/0367, steel converted from a 500 MPa yield strength). The recommendation by layer thickness is the manufacturer's experience-based choice, not a structural calculation. It applies to the anti-shrinkage function in non-loaded screeds and floor screeds up to 150 mm, not to load-bearing reinforcement. The specific use must be approved by a designer or structural engineer. Detailed guide ›
KOREFIB® FiberMesh 4 mm
A composite anti-shrinkage reinforcing mesh with a 100×100 mm mesh spacing and a 4 mm bar diameter. It is the strongest standard KOREFIB® FiberMesh variant, for thicker screeds, floor screeds, structural toppings and other thicker non-load-bearing concrete layers where higher tensile capacity and more robust area reinforcement are required.
The 4×100×100 variant is supplied with CE marking and ETA documentation (ETA 25/0367). It serves as anti-shrinkage and distribution reinforcement in non-loaded layers, not as load-bearing reinforcement.
The 4×100×100 variant offers the highest tensile capacity of the standard certified KOREFIB® FiberMesh variants. It is suitable for thicker screeds and floor screeds, structural toppings, concrete floors and thicker layers where the 2 mm or 3 mm variant no longer provides the required margin. A separate structural design is always required for a load-bearing function.

* Values are based on TZÚS test reports (ETA 25/0367, test report 060-059659). The values given are indicative for anti-shrinkage and distribution applications in non-loaded layers. They are not design values, nor an automatic replacement for load-bearing reinforcement.
Available sizes
Difference between variants
50×50 mm mesh spacing. A dense grid for thin screeds, light layers and finer distribution of shrinkage cracks.
100×100 mm mesh spacing. A universal choice for common screeds and floor layers in residential and commercial areas.
100×100 mm mesh spacing. The highest tensile capacity in the standard range, for thicker screeds, floor screeds, structural toppings and thicker layers.
All variants serve as anti-shrinkage and distribution reinforcement in non-loaded layers. Not sure which to choose? Send us the layer build-up and the intended use, and we will recommend a suitable variant.
Typical applications
Advantages of the 4 mm variant
- ETA-certified variant with European documentation
- Highest tensile capacity in the standard range: 155 kN/m
- Low weight of 456 g/m² compared with steel mesh
- 100×100 mm mesh spacing for thicker screeds and layers
- Does not corrode even in damp and alkaline environments
- Supplied in rolls 1 and 2 m wide for easy handling
