KOREFIB is a Czech manufacturing company focused on composite reinforcement made of glass fibers. We produce materials for concrete structures where long-term durability, low weight, production accuracy and practical usability on site are decisive.
Who we are
KOREFIB started as a manufacturing company. From the beginning we have built on the idea that composite reinforcement should not be merely an imported material with a catalog sheet, but a product for which we know the input raw materials, the production process, the behavior during processing and the practical limits of use.
We focus on GFRP reinforcement — composite materials made of glass fibers and a polymer matrix. We manufacture reinforcing meshes, bars and fibers for concrete. These products are not an end in themselves. The goal is to supply the construction industry with a material that has clear properties, stable production and a real benefit in specific structures.
We don't want to act as a company that just repeats general phrases about modern materials. Composite reinforcement is a technical product. It has its advantages, its rules and its limits. That is why we try to build the KOREFIB brand on production, documentation, control and open communication with the customer.
Why we make composite reinforcement
Concrete structures change slowly. Steel reinforcement is an established standard in construction and in many cases it will remain so. At the same time, there are more and more situations where material weight, installation speed, service life, corrosion, logistics or the costs of handling are being addressed.
This is exactly where composite reinforcement has its place. Not as a trendy replacement for everything, but as another technical option. A material that is light, does not corrode and makes it possible to design some structures or products differently than with conventional steel.
Our task is not to persuade the customer at any cost. Our task is to manufacture reinforcement, provide clear technical information about it and help distinguish where its use makes sense. This is how we want to bring composite materials from the realm of special solutions into everyday construction practice.
We build KOREFIB as a manufacturing brand. Not on flashy promises, but on the material, production, control and the gradual building of trust in composite reinforcement.
What we manufacture
The KOREFIB production program consists of three main product groups: composite meshes, composite bars and fibers for concrete. Each of these products has a different function, a different production method and different control requirements.

All these products share one principle: they must be manufactured so that they can be repeatedly delivered in the same quality and so that the customer can work with them without unnecessary complications.
Production as the foundation of the company
Our own production is essential to us. With composite reinforcement, the decisive factors are details that are often not visible from the outside — the quality of fiber impregnation, the setting of the resin system, curing, surface, geometry, process stability and inspection of the finished product.
If composite reinforcement is to be usable in construction over the long term, it is not enough to have a good idea or an interesting material. The product must be repeatable. It must have clear parameters. It must be packaged and delivered so that it can be worked with normally. And it must have documentation that the designer, the construction company and the customer understand.
That is why we address not only the strength of the products, but also the things that often get lost in a catalog: handling, storage, cutting, roll windings, packaging, labeling, traceability of production and technical documentation. It is exactly these details that decide whether the material gets from production to site without problems.
How we want to build the company
We don't want to build KOREFIB as a short-term trade in a new material. We want to build it into a stable manufacturing brand in the field of composite reinforcement. That means gradually expanding production, refining the technical documentation, adding documentation and increasing trust in GFRP materials among designers, construction companies and manufacturers of precast concrete elements.
The connection between production and technical development is important to us. From experience we know that there is a big difference between a laboratory parameter and a usable product. The product must work not only during testing, but also during transport, storage, installation and ordinary work on site.
We want the KOREFIB brand to be associated with composite reinforcement that is technically clear, fairly described and manufactured with an emphasis on long-term quality. Not with exaggerated promises. Not with the impression that one material will solve everything. But with the approach of a manufacturer that knows its product and knows where its use has value.
Not through shortcuts and empty marketing, but through production, technical data, documentation, practical experience and products that can really be worked with.
Documentation and responsibility
With construction products it is not enough to say that a material is modern or durable. The customer needs to know what they are buying, what properties the product has, what purpose it is intended for and according to which documents it should be used. That is why we are gradually building the technical documentation for the individual KOREFIB products.
For our products we prepare technical data sheets, catalog materials, declarations of performance and other documents according to the product type and its intended use. For selected FiberMesh products we also work with European technical documentation including ETA.
We consider this part of the manufacturer's responsibility. If composite reinforcement is to be commonly used, it must be available not only as a material, but also as a system of information, parameters, labeling and technical support.
Where we are heading
Construction will not change materials overnight. Composite reinforcement must gradually earn its place through quality, documentation and experience from projects. That is exactly what we want to work on.
KOREFIB is meant to be a brand that helps make GFRP reinforcement a more common and more understandable part of construction practice. We want to manufacture products that make sense both technically and economically, while openly communicating their properties, possibilities and limits.
Our work does not end with manufacturing the material. It continues in documentation, development, technical support, improving the production process and searching for further areas where composite reinforcement can replace more complex, heavier or less durable solutions.
